Our learning to interact with God is much like our learning to communicate as infants with our parents. We start out as selfish children crying out our needs and wants. And God, the Creator of the universe, chooses to respond. Then we begin to understand that we have been created for His purposes, His Kingdom and our cries become quiet and we learn to listen.
